    Hi Daz,

Can you please up my score for July. I managed to come 9th at turnslack after a few people decided to do a bit extra

The winner was John Green of Preston he managed 80.41, I did 89.21 for a score of 89 points, my best of the year.
    Thanks

    Dan

Ps good to meet you at kentmere, guess you were a bit short of breath when I accosted you after the race.

Still awaiting results from Bamford Carnival which I'm certain was my best run of the month. Doubt I scored that well at Kentmere having finished 181st - cracking race mind! I'd try to claim for my local (highly unofficial!) parkrun, which is hilly, that I finished 1st in but that'd be cheating...

Can I claim my time at the golden acre 2.75 mile off road relay race? Plenty of fell runners racing including Holmsey and the Wharfedale clan.

The fastest time on my leg was Adam Osbourne - 14:35 vs my time of 16:04 which gives me 90 pts, or alternately the fastest of the night was James Walsh 14:03 which gives me 86 pts. Every little helps...

I'd have thought 4th place at Beetham would have upped my July score but the winner Mark Addison put in a cracking run and finished 6 minutes in front of me (35:28 to my 41:19), giving 84 points, so I'll stick with the 90 points from Ingleborough!

Ey up Daz, can I open August scoring with the following please?

    Tegg's Nose
Simon Bailey - 54:46 (led by a long way before we'd left the sheepdog trial fields)
    Me (19th) - 68:08

    76 points please.

I have another august score as well. Hellifield gala, winner Jimmy Craig in 25:03 vs me in 28:01. I think that's 88 points

    Hi, Daz.

Holidays beckon, but hoping to squeeze Cracken Edge in tomorrow evening - will you be there?

Then it's 2 weeks off before the realisation that copious quantities of Paella & San Miguel don't lend themselves to improving speed on the fells as I attempt Crowden Horseshoe!!

    Cheers,
    Phil

    Hi Phil,
Hmmm... think I've been overdoing it recently (Dovedale Dipper on Sunday was harder than it should've been) so will reluctantly be giving Cracken Edge a miss
might do Eccles Pike next week though
    then I'm off on hols
and I might rock up at Crowden Horseshoe as a "last chance saloon" attempt at some decent points for August

oh, and you don't know the route of Denis Stitt by any chance do you...?
