28 points for me at Langdale
wouldn't normally get too excited over so few, but that's the most I've ever got on a Lakeland Classic

don't think I'll be doing another fell race in October, so need to look to November for further improvements to score
Roaches is a maybe, and can't imagine a good score there anyway
so Peak Raid 3 (Round 2) looks like my next good chance (it's in the Glossop area too, which I know quite well)

    Hi Daz,

71 points please for me from Langdale, winner 2.16 dead, me 2.55.42. Doesnt get me any extra points as its equal to my 6th score. Dont think i will do better on the Nav leg at the relays, so it might have to be Race to the Sumnmit on Saturday.

If we can count separate legs for the relay then can I have 92 points for October please? Leg 3, myself and Richard Mellon 1:08:46, the winners (Tom Saville and Neil Northrop) 1:03:55. Ta!

Good effort there, Sam - no problems finding Checkpoint 3 then?! Can't quite match that, but going with 71 points on Leg 3 (myself & John Ewart 1.22.28), which wasn't too bad for a pair of 50-somethings!

Good effort too! We saw a few guys heading off up to an earlier pointy bit of ground thinking it was the checkpoint, but we convinced ourselves they were wrong and it paid off! Found the ground from D to E hard going, I dislike running through heather at the best of times...
