Don't think you should be worried. They've just had to reboot the server, so that might have caused a delay. (I'm not sure what rebooting the server actually entails, but it sounds nasty.)
It's working well again now for everyone apart from me. My own case is currently baffling even the techies and has been described as "unique and bizarre". This is what qualifies me to be a Fell Pony.
I keep getting "Invalid Login Details". Very frustrating

Seriously though, it just goes to show how popular this race is with runners in the UK. There is not much sign of international clubs or countries on the list to say its a world event.
