I stumbled twice - once trying to overtake someone when I fell at his feet and then near the end over a frozen lump of mud! No ice cuts though.
Great race though, even if my lad did beat me comprehensively!
I believe that children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way. I feel a song coming on, although my lad did'nt race, had a touch of boy flu and listen's to his mother too much. "ooh it will be too cold" Wish she'd have a go at running, then again maybe not cos she'd probably beat me. Well done to yourself and your lad![]()
Good effort Clive, mountain biking across from Hebden Bridge, doing the race and then cycling back !
I cycled up from the train station in Keighley, all uphill, and then back again, about 10 mile ?
Enjoyed the race, plenty of cuts on my shins from the ice.I did manage to stay on my feet though![]()
Congratulations to the Woodentops on another excellent days racing!
But more importantly on their decision to go "High Tech" and get on't interweb. My daughter was thrilled to bits to see her picture on the computer, just the right thing to keep the kids motivated and want to do it again.
Thanks.
