    Well my max length was about 30miles - just the once. That, a couple of boxes of ibruprofen and some good company got me around OK :-)

    Not sure I'd recommend it as a training regime though.

    You could try the village of Grassington were i live it is only half a mile from the finish of the Fellsman were there is lots of places to stay and some good pubs like the Foresters, Devenshire Arms, and the Blackhorse. Or you could try the town of Settle situated in between Ingleton and Threshfield were also there is plenty of places to stay and good pubs like the Golden lion and Royal Oak.

    Hi BG if you do a google search for inns at Grassington there are several and you can book online, hope that helps.
