I used to do that event, Tarren (John Marsh) was also a regular, we had some good runs out over it, especially as it was held in April, so some interesting weather at times and went over it in deep snow the once. All the way down to Ratgoed.....and then all the way back up again......very amusing . Another good event long gone .

Yes I know John well. He was highly amused one year when I detoured off to 'tick' the BS summit before it became part of the route.
