Well it isn't. It's juniors, and how we attract them, encourage them and look after them within our sport.
I disagree.

OK youngsters are important, but the future of the sport will not be affected by a lack of fell running kids, sorry but the future is safe. Whether climbers, footballers, road runners, there will always be a path to fell running. Fell running as we know it, will always be a fixture in the hills whether we have kids races or not.

What % of racers actually ran as a yongster? I mean competitively not the odd 5 k or x country at school?
