We had 2 teams in this year, we normally have 7. All the faster lads and faster vets had other agendas, me included. I could pick from 4 or 5 races that weekend in May which are more my cup of tea than the calderdale relay. I compete in the Hodgson, Fra relays and PBR as they fit nicely round other races. As for the benefit of the team i don't really see your point. The relay team i normally run with would be fragmented, making it a bit pointless
