Broke my Parkrun duck today.
Fancied something different to a Saturday session for my lot after 2 hard work outs this week and Preston Park Run seemed to fit the bill.
So we had a BBH posse at Blackburn where my fellow forumite Multi-coloured cruised around to finish first.
Mens winner Preston, Ladies winner and runner up Preston, Ladies winner Burnley and Mens winner Heaton Park suggest my group quite like them.
I must say, I enjoyed it
That means you're well and truly knighted (initiated into Parkrun fellowship) and will be able to come (with BBH posse?) to my 100th Parkrun at Marple on 16th Feb, maybe followed by a fell run (10-12noon + scran) and a XC (Boggart Hole ~2pm)?!
I just did my 99th Parkrun today (5km), followed by XC at Leigh SELancs (10k) with a Gloss posse, as warmup for 16th Feb.
TimothyDaltonMyArse was on form today - he's 40 in the week of Saturday 16th Feb. Hence the plan coincident with my 100th Parlrun.
PS. Definitely still had last weekend's Trigger in my legs but a gel popped just before the XC start kicked-in during lap 2 to restore my dignity (rightful position) in lap 3.
