what is peoples take on the Anelka thing? At best it was a very ignorant thing to do, but I think the truth seems a bit more sinister than that judging purely from what i've read. For him to know about this salute means he knows what it stands for, was created for and what and by whom its used. So for me its vile and he should have the book thrown at him. Worse than either the Suarez evra incident and indeed Ferdinand Terry...I can see it now massed ranks of away fans at White Hart Lane giving this salute to the baying spurs fans, all because of this idiot
