    Re: Today's Training

My first run in the dark around Pex Hill using my Head torch really enjoyed it only did 4.12 mile for starters. Took a wee bit of adjusting to get the right angle but then it was great and really comfortable. Knowing my route helped a bit tonight looking forward to using it Next Thursday on the recce around Helsby Hill with a few of the forumites.

First off road run in a month 12miles and 2120ft of climb(thats the style Jamie, build up slow).

Visited Darwen tower and Great Hill

My knee felt okay, took it easy on the down hills. I was really blowing going up the hills and had to walk up Great Hill. Lots quite a bit of fitness and put a bit of weight on.

4m to work on singlespeed, pedalled all the way up Ripponden bank, done it before but not at 5 in the morning. Finish at dinnertime, 20 mile including 5.5 mile climb up through Cragg Vale from Mytholmroyd, cold wind coming back into Ripponden from Blackstone Edge. Now thawing me feet out
