What a wonderful day. Glorious sunshine and no mud (frozen!)
15 miles in 3 hours from Roddlesworth taking in Belmont, Anglezarke, White Coppice and Great Hill.
Saw Rob Hope, Nick Leigh and Darren Kay on Great Hill and stopped for a chat with Jan Atkins.
Enjoyed a full breakfast and pot of tea at Vaughn's Cafe afterwards.

5.5 miles over the only excuse I have for a "hill" around here. It's the first time I've been over it this year. I also fell over and now can't cough without my ribs hurting!

Fab day today over here too. Up Beamsley Beacon from home on 'Owl' route, bit of a trot round by the grouse butts and back down the way the BOFRA race goes up. Interesting inversion with only top of Ilkley Moor visible over the valley

    No run! (Again!)
Ill. Not happy about it. Alos hurt my back in bed this morning, and it had nothing to do with bedroom activities!!!
Going to take another day off tomorrow and then see how I am Tuesday.
Not great timing with the National coming up next weekend.

Good Man Stagger, been thinking about that myself. On nights tomorrow so won't drink all week, might carry it on for another three, would'nt do me any harm. Hope you had a good Birthday mate

Cheers ML, Birthday weekend over. Last can has gone down.
Now it's on to 30mile/week and increasing the climb to 200'/mile leading up to Annie run in mid April.
Need to drop 10 to 12lb.
More down hill running sessions when the light nights arrive.
On Wards and Upwards for this old boy
