But as it is a club for randoms and oddballs i think you have to expect people to behave as they choose. I noticed some miserable poster trying to denigrate your "Running Adventures" thread a while back, its horses for courses. I think people sometimes forget that the overwhelming majority of active fellrunners dont bother with the forum at all....and that includes the Ponies.

I would very much doubt that any pony who has posted on this thread has not felt welcomed. If that happens to be the case then I'm very sorry indeed. Different personalities will ultimately breed different sense of humours in individuals, and I thought that as much as the running side, Fell Ponies was about being able to expressive yourself without fear of scowling. Now I havent read every single post on here (Wish I'd the time to!) but we're all adults and can hopefully ignore what we dont like and steer the thread back to where we feel comfortable with our own contributions. But personally, I think we're all a bunch of ballbags and should have a MANbag each.
