that's not so bad merry, the pain came at the end, coul dhave been much worse if it came at the start!
can you do a simplified half tour of pendle map for me?
hope all is good? I feel rather spoilt today, was given five running books! will read them and pass them on to people at a race in the 'near' future.
All is good![]()
A simplified Half Tour of Pendle map
Start here
RUN 9 MILES 2250FT OF ASCENT AS PAIN FREE AS POSSIBLE
Finish here.
Congratulations, have a pot of tea![]()
nice one:d
think i'll be fantasizing about that tea after the first 5 miles
haven't been back up that way since I used to go visit my Grandma who lived in Nelson so should be a good day, can't wait now. Finish my job on friday, so Pendle is the celebration!
just flicking through one of the books I was given 'brendan Foster' by Brendan Foster and Cliff Temple
Brendan has just broken the world record for 3000 metres at a brand new stadium at Gateshead.......august 3rd 1974.....and on the same day......"I go home and have a cup of tea. I still feel light, not tired at all, so I go out and run another 4 miles, which takes ny week's mileage to 101."
talk about inspirational and motivated.
Evening all.
hey there Ady, how's tricks?
what are the chances I get lost on saturday?
