For a moment there I thought there was something wrong with you, glad its not to serious Dee Jay, let me know when you can make it.
Not as many snows these days as there was when i was a nipper, but i've seen a few, and had a few bags of Tudor and a few bottles of Nuclear Brown in my youth

I'm going to be in and about the Lakes From Tuesday - Saturday next week part for work, part for pleasure, possibly going over this Sunday/Monday depending on weather.

So could be around all weekend, certainly Saturday. Aiming to do the Eston Nab race on the 16th.

    What about you?

    Just a quick queery!

I'm doing the roddlesworth roller non fell race on Sunday. I've entered as an unattatched, but am going to wear my Ponies vest.

Is this right, or should I have entered as a Pony as long as I paid the unattatched fee??

    I'm reight confused,me!!

You can enter as a Pony but still have to pay the unattached levy...

    Rules is rules

Well, tis debatable if you ask me....

If its a levy for "unaffiliated" then fair enough

If its a levy for "unattached" then id say its fair game to not pay the levy. But id best be careful not to stray back into my rules rant

    Re: Fell Ponies??

I've entered a couple of road races recently, where I didn't pay the unaffiliated levy due to being a member of the FRA, but under club I have put down:
"Fell Ponies (Fell Runners Association, Memb.No. nnnnn)"

I got listed in the results as Fell Ponies for one, and FRA for the other - I guess it depends on how much it confuses the RO/results-compiler...?

We all know Fellmonster's fast, right. Check this out, witnessed his warm up routine before the Noon Stone. One of his moves was to stand absolutely still and pump his arms up and down very fast. This guy can go nowhere fast too I have tried this since, with no one watching, and fell flat on my face

Said warm up activity was gleamed from a LEGEND of athletics back in my native Northern Ireland.

P.S- I wasnt exactly too brisk that day Merrylegs......and I put it down to a lack of a proper warm up! Oh the irony!
