Several shops in Attercliffe will have this available in leather or PVC.

    (I am informed)

Good luck to everyone tonight. I hope the weather stays reasonably calm for you all and no one falls foul of the Bleaklow Bog Monster.

If you get the sunrise like we had in 2005 all the pain will be worth it !!

Good luck to everyone for tonight / tomorrow morning.
Planning on being somewhere between Kinder Downfall and Snake summit to shout abuse (encouragement) .
Any other observers wishing to join me, I will be setting off from below the Snake Inn, to ascend Fairbrook, at 07:00hrs.

Never yet done it in ideal conditions, had rain, snow, fog but never frost with light snow cover and full moon, unlike Bazza Needle one year, never switched his head torch on.

for anyone wanting to keep an eye on the weather through the day (no I don't work for them!)

This would give an idea for the east side of the route. Anyone else got webcam links for other sections?

Bloody hell if it's like that in the morning it's going to have to snow a bit...

Current conditions over Derwent edge are bright and "breezy" with a few clouds.

Don't forget to watch out for the outeredge BM also....

Whoa nightmare. Wandering around Bleaklow without lights would have been difficult. Chances are that it belongs to the person who finished last or DNF.
