Well, I had to pull his van out of a muddy parking space in Little Hayfield a few weeks ago.

Well, and I thought YOU lot were Pals' of mine...
What with, parkin & towing & staying in bed much to late...
It's plain I'll have to abdicate & let Miss MP take control
(not to sure about her driven & nav' skills )

PS Filthy R' - got a few snaps of prize-giving, can pop on a CD in post?

    Re: High Peak Marathon

i cannot believe someone is thinking of doing 20 HPMs in one life. I've started 4 and finished 3: I am firmly of the belief that I have struggled across bleaklow in the dark enough times for one life.
I'd like to add some more congratulations to the volunteers: in pretty much all things it restores your faith in human nature. I hope the small box of chocolates that Nick carried all the way to Swains Head and handed over as a present went down well. It was worth it just to see Pip's face: "You mean... you carried these all the way across Bleaklow...for me?"

once again, a brilliant event. I'll be thinking of you all as I knock back another pint on the first Friday of March, 2009.....

Only just managed to sort out how to do this.
Took 68 photo's between Downfall and Snake Summit http://www.flickr.com/photos/24668105@N08/?saved=1 (hope the link works).
One of the photo's is of the checkpoint marshalls on Mill Hill, a friendlier pair you couldn't meet .

I said that 3 years ago after 7 HPM's and then again 2 years ago after 8.
Out watching, and photographing, on Saturday I was thinking i should get to double figures before stopping .

Our dibber didn't work at Moscar, which is why the results say it took us 30 minutes to get there from High Neb. From that point on our split times are one behind everybody elses.
