i have to take 12...for good luck. if i dont wear 12 i have a bad race. i lost a pin last week and only had 11. needless to say i ran badly.
Well we all (maybe not all) have our superstitions. Its best not to let yourself think about that kinda stuff before its adds to your list. ha

no matter where my pins are the rest of the time, (you know, useful places like in the car, with my running kit, in my bag etc etc) when it comes to arriving at a race they are always left at home
As for rivington pike, i thought about doing this race, then decided not to... #pointless post no 453
Top tip for not losing pins - leave 'em pinned to your vest (take the number off though as it makes a mess of the washer).

I always use loads of pins, my dad says it stops your number flapping in the wind. I remember getting laughed at by an official at the AAA's though a couple of years ago, for having soo many pins on my vest
