    Where to from here

Next Year the Anniversary Waltz becomes a teenager, and to celibrate we thought we'd do something as an add-on. We've had a few ideas, more comments or other ideas please

    1. Brass Monkeys..... A 1 day pairs race - Late January/early Feb, very long and hard.
    2. Married Bliss.....A Sunday Race following the Waltz - over the other side of the valley - with as you'll have guessed lots of upss and downss.
    3. just more beer on the Saturday

Theres also the "liked it so much Ill do it twice addicts race"..... twice round the course!! on the same day as the waltz for an AL - or maybe the EXTENDED version...

Start off up Causey to sail. eel crags. grasmoor, whiteless, across the pass to robinson and finish the same.

A Married Bliss on the Sunday but extended as 'alwaysinjured' suggested. Starting up Causey Pike will take out the road and cut down the number of marshals (can I run that one rather than marshall Wynn?).

Well, obviously option 3 is going to get my vote. But then, since I'm normally falling over by 4pm on the beer you have there anyway, maybe not (doggy kegs, perhaps?)

A short-lived but intense race the next day (Hollywood Marriage?) would be interesting (Funny how AI and YDT fancy a long race after they've got rid of the opposition the day before )

I think a mountain relay would be good. I don't suppose it could be too long at that time of year, due to the length of day, and getting fell runners out of bed early. Obviously if it was very early February I'd have divided loyalties, as it would clash with Rossendales own relay, but generally they'd appeal to different kinds of runners anyway.

Got to say Stynn, you're gluttons for punishment!

One option would be to do .... Causey, Aard Crags, Robinson and back onto the AW .... this was the original route we thought of before we decided to make it an A Medium.

This could be a short Brass Monkey or a long Hollywood Marriage.

Any takers ... or any other long ideas?

Also any ideas for a short 'un for a Hollywood Pudgy?

Yianni of course you can run, I'll even let you design the best route if you want to - mountain goat that you are.
