What I was trying to do, but failed and needed sleep.... was to do a sortable page so you can see your position at each checkpoint and your ranking for that section. First column for each checkpoint is the total time to the checkpoint, second is the split between checkpoints.

Thanks for the stats SteveT and Dom, really helpful. My race also went down the tubes when the wheels came off shortly after Lord's Seat. As IanDarkPeak has said:

You think you don't want to lose places so try too hard too soon. Hang back for a bit longer and you will cut through the field.
