Brummy John's site has an aerial view which should help you. Don't forget you will need to have done some qualifying races.

Thanks for the info David. I realise you have to have done some qualifying races.

    Re: three peaks

Well, that was very interesting today.

It's a challenge, but one I enjoyed. Reckon we got round in about 4:20 - 4:30. Whernside is the tough one. And not going too fast up to it. Luckily it didn't rain!

I don't think I'll be doing the race. If I went round a today's pace, maybe, but my competitive instinct will take over, i will go a lot quicker and that will have the same effect as 2005's marathon, i.e. bugger me up for 3 months minimum. Which as I'm running quite well, is not what I want.

Maybe Daleside will let me come and watch with her??

    Fellhell

    Were you up there today?

I walked up Pen y Gent today with my son in tow, kept doing some 'tracking', followed what looked like some mudclaws up, was that you?

Anybody else planning any recce runs, I will definately be interested, just got an 'unexpected three month holiday'!

Yeah, PaulH7 had mudclaws on! Well spotted!

Maybe it was longer than 4:30, we did stop to check the map a couple of times?

Race day, were I to enter, I'd hope to break 4 hours, but know that finishing would be the main aim and anything can happen on race day...
