do you all know each other ? is this some kind of freaky forum for clubbie pals to chit chat inbetween races ? i've been away for a couple of years, only running in rocks and dust and i'm despairing for the world of fell running - everyone has forgotten whats it all about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scampi is having a dig . In answer to your question, posting under 'general chat' needn't be anything to do with fell running although this thread is.... I guess. A lot of fell race goers run unattached to clubs or alternatively belong to road running clubs - the fell ponies gives them a common vest to race in, thats all. Oh and if more than one fell pony turns up at a race they'll naturally speak to each other and get to know each other.

As for what fell running is all about, that's easy, its about running in the fells.
