12 miles. Cod Beck Reservoir to Lordstones (first checkpoint of Lyke Wake Race)and back. Another glorious day. Phew
Was jealous seeing so many people sat by the stream having picnics while I came back sweating like a fat goat!

It is fun revisiting runs from ones youth though.

Nice easy 9 along the flattest part of the West Highland Way.

Hard packed track starting outside the house. Straight after work, sunny and lots of gates so made me take it slow.

Quite enjoyable really, but starting to get nervous already, what if I forget how to run with all this tapering stuff?

    Jason.

1 hour 45 minute run up Ingleborough from Clapham with my (new) chums at Settle Harriers. Chuffing brilliant, especially being on the summit at about 8 pm with the sun just going down.

Sorry I wasn't there, had to make do with a 7 miler on Brighton seafront. Nearly expired in the heat more than once, be glad to get back up north later today.

It was a warm one here too. Absolutely fantastic on the tops but the midges were out in their teeming millions by the lake on the way back - I got a mouthfull, nosefull, facefull with a few intrepid buggers even getting in behind my left contact lense and almost blinding me! All part of the fun though.

Tonight, Win Hill from Yorkshire Bridge via Parkin Clough, 3 - 5 reps depending on timings/mood. Starting from YB just after 7pm if anyone else is around, usual suspects have cried off so at the moment it's a solo effort.

I'm out tonight Steve but can't handle the drudge of climbing up Parkin clough - 5 times .

How about Delph on Strines road to Fairholmes and back
