Ground very hard on the course. It is raining at the moment, but it shouldn't affect things too much.
Cor, what an ace run! Start at Elle Bank is scary - I commented on why there weren't any machine gunners hiding in the bushes to make it even harder!
Super run out, managed to keep going most of the way on the first half, only walking half of the climb up to South Head. Then the down to Dimpus and up was a real lung buster. Bloomin' cold & blowy on the tops though even though it was hard work.
Will be back to do this one again. Thanks to all concerned for organising and heping with the race.
all i can say what a fantastic race, just need to work on my down hill running cost me at least 6 places today but thats life, deffo doing it next year now i know the course, thanks to all involved, once again a belter of a race.
what a great course! really enjoyed this one, good fun dancing over the tussocks
Thanks to Mark Boulton and helpers for running this local classic.
I reckon the new course is only 30-40 seconds longer than the previous course. Not the 2-3 minutes I initially suspected. The only difference was a wider path down into Dimpus Clough.

Hi Christopher, you won a prize I think? Sorry I didn't get to say hello, maybe next time.
The start was great fun too, by the way it will be on youtube soon
i'll post a link here and pm you to make sure you get it, one of our guys was filimg the start and finish, might be interesting to see the start if it's not too dark from being 'in the trees'
