I think you may find this will soon be history as the National Committee of the LDWA have decided to open up the full Gambit to non members , not sure as to when as the decision has not long been announced.

After much badgering they are going to change it and put all events on the website, but don't hold your breath waiting, as ldwa don't move that fast .
In the meantime ..... cough up a few ££££s and join .

I'm not tight, contrary to many's belief, but I only wanted to run ONE walk so I didn't think it was worth it....

I'm a fully paid up member of FRA, although i do owe club subs for this year....

    Re: All LDWA events thread.

It is a tricky route to follow, very easy to overrun a turn or mis-count the number of stiles. The 09:00 start has the advantage of people on the route in front of you for much of the way round. Look out especially for Dwerry House - you don't see until after you turn right - make sure you know where the Grid Ref is.

Send me a pm with your email address I'll try to send you a map with the route (what I think is the route) on it. It won't all the twists and turns but it should you where you ought to be going.

Me & Mrs FSS have done three times and got lost, or at least have been off route, every time and always in different places but never very seriously.
