Northern XC Champs

I bloody love the big cross country events like the Northern and the National.

It's great running in big fields, the cavalry charge effect at the beginning of the race is superb.

Heaton Park is one of my favourite cross country venues as well. Are you reading Chairman Cobra?

Abbey Runners, Accrington Harriers and Airedale Harriers are alphabetically before Alty Swoop, though whether they've entered athletes is another thing of course. I can't wait for the Northerns and the Nationals though.
