Spotted a Little Owl earlier this evening. Does what it says on the tin - it's an owl and it's little!

    a bunch o' baby wrens...musta just popped owt o' nest...well cute...still 'ad bits o' fluffy down on ther'eads.
a few pairs o' hares (not pubes!).
a male Reed Bunting singing 'is little 'ead off ont'moor edge.
    also...7 moles...in mi traps.
oh...'n a dead vixen that someone must've bin shot...they'd left it to rot in an open field...I smelt it before I spotted it...not nice...probably 'ad some cubs nearby.

A bunch of baby wrens which must have popped out of their nest. They were cute and still had fluffy bits of down on their heads.
    A few pairs of hares.
A male Reed Bunting singing his little head off on the edge of the moor.
Also, 7 moles in my traps and a dead vixen that someone must have shot. Because they had left it to rot in an open field I smelt it before I spotted it. It was not nice as it probably had some cubs nearby.

traditionally Dotterels could be seen on top o' Pendle 'ill in early spring...a stoppin-off place on their way to breedin grunds much further north.
Not sure if they're seen these days?...too much human/dog activity which disturbs them...'n me too!
