    Just had a look at last years times,to get top 20 you would have to do somewhere near 2.06. This seems unlikely

    Me too.The longest ive raced is 8 miles so im in unknown territory with this one,regards to pacing,food? etc....

    Start off steady and get some scoff down early and you'll be fine
    3 course meal at halfway point would'nt go amiss either

    Should be a fair few on the day I'd imagine. Aren't many long events at this time of the year round these parts.

    Cor, not longer than 8? You'll enjoy this one then...my first "long" one was Roaches back in (I think) 2004. Suffered on account of it being warm and not having enough to drink. That's the main thing I think - plenty of fluids!
