Wasn't a siskin, was it?Only saying that 'cos I heard a prog on R4 about birds and (apparently) it's got one of the ugliest bird songs around. They tend to live in the tops of trees, especially evergreens.
Come to think of it, there's quite a bit of yellow in their plumage so maybe it wasn't then....
