    No training today.

    1st of five days rest trying to shift a knee problem (ligaments?) that just won't go away. No cravings or irritability yet. Can you get a nicotene patch for this?

    At this time of night a fine Malt or, at a push, a nice drop o'red plonk would be best. Anyway, not to worry Mr RicePud, it was raining over the top of Barden moor this afternoon.

    Ah...that's probably not helping your psychology very much is it

    8 miles today
    felt better after 2 days off
    a big recce tomorrow, lookin forward to some proper terrain and scenery

    well back to some running today - did 6 miles on the beach in beautiful weather - in marco Island florida. Brilliant run

    Did the Sussex Beacon 1/2 marathon as my training today; 1.28.23 off the back of the best part of a week in bed with the lurgy and a 45min waddle over the downs yesterday left me feeling much happier than when I got up this am, headaching and nose streaming...funny business this running lark!

    after todays 20mile skyline recce and some great views of the course
    total miles for the week is 50

    Radcliff 12, was having a good time looking round finished in 1.27 48th nice trot out passed Rabbit on his training run at 9 miles! he still seemed full of cold!
