Yeah, thanks Holmfirth Harriers, good nosh after as well. Very nice marshals too, especially the one who said to me "That bloke in front is twice your age" That makes me look 31 and a half, or Graham Breeze looks 86 Think me and Graham will go with the first assumption
Good, tough race, enjoyed it and managed not to get run over by the trials bikes

Yes, I second all those comments about the Holme Moss fellrace. Thanks to all the organisers, marshalls and helpers who made it such a superb event.

Hopefully I'll be back next year.

Crikey that was a hard race . Holmfirth put on cracking show, £5 including a T-shirt, big butty, cake and infinite cups of tea! Was very pleased with a mid-pack finish. Measured it at 17.1 miles. What about Disco Stan finishing 10th!

If the big ones borrowdale, count me in.
Got the Swiss alpine marathon to do the week before as a warm up.
    My legs will fall off.
That was a hard race today.
Very well organised and well worth the rossy lot doing it.
    Prizes galore.
what a well organised and well marshalled race, cheap as well.

Re: Holme Moss Fell Race 13 Ju

I wish I'd felt a lot better on the day and been able to last the course. I dropped out early on, I almost certainly wouldn't have started if this was a local race but as I was up in the area I decided to start and see how I went.
