Tis wednesday but I can't go to work today or tomorrow as son number 2's teachers are on strike.....just before the 6 week holidays....champion
Our Harry's nursery are on strike as well for two days plus we still have to pay even while they are on strike which is a bit naughty in my opinion. Good job he only goes 2 days per week.

I feel sorry for Laurence though...he doesn't 'do' change very well and it's already been a testing morning6 weeks of this is enough to test the patience of a saint

Its difficult when little ones have normal routines changed at the last minute.
Laurence at 9 isn't so little!! He has fragile x syndrome Pinno and autism to add to the pot so it's a special needs school he goes to.....couldn't understand where his brother and sister had gone when the whistle went in the playground this morning and prompty screamed at the top of his lungs in full view!! Quite funny really, used to really stress me out....couldn't give a toss these days, not my problem if people tut and don't have a basic understanding! It's not exactly difficult to tell he's disabled......he eventually stopped crying at 10 o'clock.....same time same place in the morning then!!Harry has just gone out with his nan. Yes Emmi not so little then at 9. I teach students who have a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities and can fully understand what you say.
