Shoes for running on sand

Think I'll go with the Mizuno trail shoes.

Good choice, I'm wearing my trail shoes. I'll be wearing me red North Shields Poly vest in case you can't remember what I look like!!!!

Alf Tupper playing rugby league and beating the toffs? I missed that one but i have bought some old copies of Victor. Have fun at Alnmouth , a really beautiful inspoilt coastline , i may well have a bash at this race next year.
Btw does anyone know why there is any limit on this race, as most is run along beach/quiet country roads?
