Well done Swoop..i did give you a shout as i passed you yesterday on the way down.I doubt you remember as i was probably one of many offering encouragement.
My descent wasn't as bad as maybe i thought although still lost time after fall.Mr consistancy 38th up 38 down ! Although it shows you what a good descent can do for you,looking at IainR's descent.He passed me about third of the way down...he had a storming descent,well done mate

Look out for the Chuckle Brother masquerading as a Spanish runner - number 85.
I nearly caught him at the finish. He was nearly 3 minutes slower than me on the descent!
Unfortunately he got to the top 3 minutes before me.

Certainly a tad too warm for my likings yesetrday. Wouldn't have wanted to be out running for any longer than we were as I was hanging on grimly towards the end. The descent wasn't as rough as I was anticipating but that last stretch of downhill on the tarmac was mental.

Great support on the course including our very own Pinno & Paulh - sterling photography work as ever.

Do S4C have internet playback facility in a similiar manner to the BBC iplayer ?

Got some decent coverage of myself.A good review i thought,not that i understood any of it.A bonus of running with first lady for most of the way till my kissing gravel incident !
Matt roberts came hounding past me with IainR about a 3rd of way down.I overtook him again then i fell and was expecting to see him come back past me...now i know why he didn't,hope he is ok.Ian Hughes was also very dehydrated and in a similar state about 40 mins after the finish.
