The O/S map has under-measured it - it was about 6.5 miles.

OS Explore always massively under estimates distances, rounding usually to the mile or two below. Even my 4 mile long piece of string gets it wrong!

9 miles around bits of the Windgather race route. Started by Errwood Reservoir and cut off left at the base of Shining Tor and back through Shooter's Clough - which is a superb grassy descent. Or at least I'm sure it would be for people who can run down hills!

Hilly road session last night in the cold wind and drizzle. Made it 8miles with 4 x ~500ft climbs. Piece o' cake!
Greenfield - Plantation - ascent to Stable Stones Brow (great tough ascent and a great sunset) - Wimberry - Alphin- Home....
Crackin' run, first run with Myo XP (alkaline batteries, so as to avoid fireworks, beats the tikka xp into submission)
A run that did the soul good

Quick 30mins blast out this afternoon to blow the cobwebs away....
5.5ml and around 1000ft last night up Beamsley Beacon with club and Dom - lovely run out finishing off with headtorchs. 14.4ml and 3500ft over Whernside and Ingleborough today from Ribblehead - just me and Dom. No doubt photos, route maps etc to follow!
Good hill rep session with some of the Saddleworth bunch from around Dovestones tonight. Nice to meet new folk as well, will be back!
