    Mizuno Wave Harrier 2 Shoe

I recently bought a pair of these and have to say if your after a shoe with fantastic off road grip, reasonable cushioning and a low ride then these are worth a try. I have been out in these on some seriously bad under foot conditions and the grip never let me down. Just thought I'd let you folk know.

40 miles ?!? Well, I'm doing the Long Mynd Hike in my new ones which is 50 miles. Maybe I should take a spare pair in with all the other kit they want us to carry !

I've used mine several times and have nothing but compliments to say about them. Did an 8hr run in them and my feet have never felt so good at the end of a long day. Yes - wet rocks are not good at all, but everything else is a pleasure. They also manage to feel fast whilst offer cushioning which is a rare combination.

Thumbs up, apart from the 40 miles then !

Cant fault mine (red ones) have rune many miles in them over all sorts of terrain, racing and training

only now one of the studs in the middle of the ball of the foot is coming loose

plucking up the courage to purchase some of the yellow ones

Am surprised to here bad reports on these I have ran in Mizuno road shoes for years with no troubles at all. Well if mine last 40 miles then they will be dure to fall to pieces somewhere round the Langdale Horseshoe race in a couple of weeks So if you see a guy sat throwing his shoes off in disgust somewhere on route say hello or I told you so!

No complaints with the blue or yellow versions. Done several hundred miles in the original blue ones and feel they should probably be retired but they keep on going. Used the yellow ones- prob only about 100 miles so far with no sign of wear (apart from the yellow appearing a bit more muted and a bit more mud coloured)

I've had a blue pair for over a year, pretty comfy and no problems with wear but the grip is poor on rock.

Do the new yellow ones have better grip?

Grip seems better- but mainly running in peat/bog and on gritstone. I suspect wet limestone might be an altogether different experience.
