Hmm I could be tempted by this.
Hmm I could be tempted by this.
I live three miles away from the start and I'm looking out of the window. It's chucking it down - hope it bucks up for Saturday or it'll be a really mucky damp one!![]()
I'm still 50/50 on this 1 after suffering the effects of gravel rash at New Mills Tri last Sunday. Seem to be going down with a male cold an all. If doing it I'll pre-enter on the day and hope Plumbum will enable me to defer payment until Grin n Bear It 2009 which I'll promise not to turn up to!!
Been up Mickleden and outer earlier....it's grim!! Loads of water run off and surface stuff on peat....grin and bear it!
It seems I don't have the prior agreement of the organiser just like "he who shall not be named". Must be a tight-fisted PFR member (Penistone that is not that inferior club Peninne.) Anyway, who rescues Mountain Rescue? I'll happily donate my entry fee to that fine body of unsung heroes.
For those of you taking part, then forecast for tomorrow for the area.

It's gonna be blowy, cold & wet. Typical November weather.![]()
