    Trying to be less of a nerd than Ady, why not enter "Barley, Lancashire" into google maps and bob's your uncle. The car park is nearly the same size as Barley itself so you'll be really hard pressed to miss it when you get there.

    If you're coming from the M65 through Barrowford, look out for the almost hidden turning on your left (sign posted Roughlee?) - if you reach the turning for Colne on your right you've gone too far. Barley starts to appear on sign posts at Roughlee.

    Midlander really... Just about in France....

    I'll see what the weather's like, but I need to get off my arse and stop being lazy. Cake-based incentive might do the trick, but it would mean about a 7am start!

    A good run Emmy. Thanks for getting me out on the fells. Have to say Ady is very fit. Too fast for me. Have to also say it was worth it for the cake. Legs are a bit wrecked now. Whens the next one please?
