I see the big man has finally put pen to paper at 122, Piglet is in aswell and some one I used to work for not forgetting Ken Jones the man behind the Kinder Killer/Dozen.

Andy has been in negotaitions with Moors for the Future and United Utilities about the route, Perhaps more for next year than this but they have asked for some consideration about route choice. Andy has run their prefered route and Brent and I went up to day, I would doubt that the route will change but can't confirm it yet.

Don't worry you will find soon enough.

Not much chance of that, Did you see the standard of our 'B'Team, I might have scraped in to a 'D'Team if I was lucky. Who was the Penistone team?

Race limit this year is 200 entries, however, with natural wasteage, may mean 180 (ish) runners if we get full entry list.

Any route mods that may happen, probably none for this year as Ian DP intimated, will be described on here as soon as we know.

Hopefully meeting with United Utilities this week sometime to discuss.

I was out Saturday afternoon reccing the section from Wessenden Head to Crowden, didnt get that far as I was a bit pushed for time. Start – Marsden (Grid ref: SE 050114 ): although registration G ref will be announced shortly

Yes the route pretty much goes as you have said up to Blackhill but if you stay on PW from there you will do more distance and climbing. if you don't wonder off the best trod and many do head down in to Crowden little Brook SE 07474 02338 ( worth having some one big with you if it's been raining lots) and follow track down to Crowden. Round Res up Torside clough but from there take your pick of about 4-5 possible routes most go via Hern stones and Hern clough until they can pick up PW but aim to come out by Lady Clough SK 10042 92972 (clue use Rain guage path)

Cross Kinder via gate side clough (very hard with tired legs) and over crossing.
