Anyone know the route of Great Whernside? Can't find much info on't internet. I believe it starts in a camp site, but apart from going uphill with some great views at the top there isn't much more.

Straight up and down via Hag Dike. It's always worth using the forum search facility (although not many seem to know it exists judging by the number of duplicate threads ) - here's last year's thread.

So I won't need my Sat Nav then????

Still need my knee to work properly by then. So a nice 6 mile XC race next Wednesday from Osmotherly to test it out. If it works then I'll be up that hill like a ......, and then probably fall and "stagger" all the way back down.
