The race does go to Edale but not to Hell unless of course
there has been a late route change?. I would recheck your
bearings and grid references if I was you mate. I don't think the mountain
rescue would go to Hell for you

one quick question, which is the best route off black hill ,toolyshaw or down to the sheepfold and crowden little brook.
Crowden Little Brook - keep to the right of it to pick up the trod, but be careful, it's easy to go wrong here, some of the front runners did last year, I think dropping into Meadow Grain Clough then Crowden Great Brook - not good. Did it myself but realised the mistake quite soon thankfully. Definitely worth a recce.

Anyone know if the turn off point after Blackhill is definatley going to be 1.3k after the trig (as reported on an earlier post).....
I don't think its that far, Probably about 250m from Trig, Ceck PB's post.
I'll go up next week and mark it. We also need to repair a broken stile
