Sounds like my kind of descent... but alas, my ankle hasn't healed enough for this race so have to pass on it anyway...
i was on that recce and it was quite funny. they must have though they were under attack initially when we all came charging over the ridge. well.. everybody else charged... I just slithered down and it is better on the right of the path. more gripOriginally Posted by Darth domain

I must say,not having done hardly any running on Pendle, that I am looking forward to tomorrow - 17 miles is just the right distance for a Long as far as I'm concerned - beyond that point I'm cream crackered.
Not sure about Geronimo though...........
I absolutely loved that descent. Emmi's got a great line down there. Did go on my arse a couple of times, but I always find this is quicker than running

I am really feeling sorry for myself for not being able to run
well... i am really peed off now
there was supposed to be three of us running this together tomorrow and the other two have chickened out.
It will be a long 6 hours on my own!!!!!!!
