    seen the footprint of a big cat in st ives bingley and an otter in the aire near riddlesden

    Saw some bird of prey today and have no idea what it was.

    It wasnt a buzzard, kestrel or sparrow-hawk which are common round here. It wasnt an owl either.

    Running in Forest of Bowland this morning (after bailing out of cross country - didn't fancy a pea souper on the M6), suddenly found ourselves in the midst of a shoot dodging birds dropping out of sky. They don't half land with a thud

    I found a pet rabbit in the middle of a field on leg 3 of Calderdale Relay
    course today (if only it had been a cat ). Looking around I spotted
    a youngster peering through a hedge at me and when I asked if it belonged
    to her she told me it did and it was just out for "a bit of exercise".

    It did occur to me that anyone walking their dog off the lead would provide
    plenty of exercise for it
