Really nice run, we where above the mist so it was quite warm when we set off, alot of the ground was frozen and you had to be abit weary of ice-patches and going over stiles.
As we came into lower ground we came into the cloud again - the dampness and cold hit you instantly.

Really enjoyable run, and the cloud over in the distance where amazing (ive forgotten what its called).
Thanks alot for the like Pete!
You are welcome Al, magical day to be out on the hills every where it seems. Prepared to get frozen but felt quite warm in the sun still only about 1 C. Don't remember ever seeing a cloud inversion as good as the one today around the western pennines. I think I'll need some new lungs and legs to keep up with Al. Hope it was just the after effects of the cold i just got rid off. Bet it will not be the same tommorrow- off over bowland tommorrow.
Todays jaunt was 7.4 miles and 1300ft of ascent

I had a magic day over Bleaklow. Stunning isn't a strong enough word.

Brocken spectre by Torside clough, lots of Mountain Hares, hardly any one about, breathtaking

    just down loaded these

The first is from Torside clough, the sun was low and just behind me and above the skyline and a low cloud drifted up the clough underneath me.

The other was from Glossop low looking over glossop and on to Manchester.
you can see some pylons sticking out through the cloud. the little hump I think is Mottrom moor?

Cross country in Sefton Park, Liverpool. Set off as fast as I could and hung in there. Felt tough and not quite 100%

Best of luck Andi tomorrow - some numbering system that.

6.3 mile on the roads and in the mud today for me. My first half decent run this week due to illness and Ofsted inspection. Nice to get out and back into the swing of things.
