6 miles from home - a good mix of slush and snow (the latter especially on the field paths - up to 3 inches max so ideal running).
5 mile road race tonight. Just going to run a comfortable easy pace and use it to ease myself back in.
4m steady to work in sleet, slush and wind at 5am. Montrail Highlanders are comfy mofo's
Hills and Guinness!
5 mile very steady. Some road, some tracks. Some ice, some puddles. All a little sore on both calves!

Plantation run, lower Chew...47:19 mins at recovery pace.....headtorch on and slippy underfoot but the rain seems to be getting rid of what's left of the ice.....should make for a boggy Tanky's

An enjoyable 70 minute head torch run up the Kings Highway/Hameldon and moors. A mix of sheet ice, calf high freezing cold slush and hip high snow drifts. Think after the slush experience I might buy some seal skin socks as I only had my summer merino wool socks on tonight. Interesting pain experience when both little toes starting warming up after a shower.
Wind down planned for 7pm 6/12/2008, whereby I shall carbo load with Guinness
Time ?, I have no idea Ian....I ain't no racing snake, "constant motion" being my mantra! As long as there is a nice pint of real ale to be had in Edale my feet shall shuffle southwards
See you Sunday mate....Great to see Tanky's has survived many thanks to yourself and others who made it possible, cheers
