How does one get one's paws on such delights?

I have a shameful admission to make. On Sunday evening, after Tanky's and possibly in a slightly 'over-rehydrated' state , I left half my Rescue Ale in the bottle in my kitchen overnight! It was fine though last night drunk Burton-style: flat and at room temperature

This is the local micro brewery:

I think the MR ale is the "farmers pale ale" as it's 5%.

    Well Done All

Always amazed that you can manage to talk when you enter the finishing tent!!

So glad to hear that you all found it a fantastic day again and we had no major catastrophe's.

I just wanted to clear up a few little minor 'myths' about the race.

Firstly, there was never any chance of the race not going ahead this year the rumour of it not happening was a bit of a misunderstanding - we just wasn't sure of how it was all going to happen at the time - however the wonderful offer of assistance from WHMR meant that some of the burden of organising the event was shared.

In no way does Tanky or his family want to be relieved of all responsibility!!

Andy and the MRT have provided a wonderful support to Tanky for taking on some of the organising however this race is STILL 'Tanky's Trog' and he, Kate, and myself have still run around madly in the run up to the event.

I think the T-shirt idea is quite a good one, however I don't think its something we should do regularly (they'd soon end up in the rag drawer I'm sure...we are closely approaching the 40th Trog (4 years) so maybe this should be something we do for this anniversary?

I will post the results as soon as I've sorted them (this week definately) and i'll send through on emails too.

Thanks to all involved in the day - including all you mad people who run it!!!

    Ms Tanky x

and always will be for as long as any nutter wants to race it .

Think the T shirt idea for the 40th one is a sound one, it will mean all the more to everyone.

I like the Avatar Merry If you do go down try the Blonde (the Drink not the Daughter).

If any one does visit the Brewary can you please mention that you first found out about the delights of Farmers through the Rescue Ale etc as it is always good to spread the goodwill around etc..

    Cheers
    Ian

And yes I am about to order some more if any locals are interested. Just PM me. All profits to team
