    Exclamation Route Descriptions

If anyone can PM me with corrections / updates / suggestions for the route descripions, I will endeavour to get them updated before laying them to rest for another year. In particular the start of leg 1. But even if it's only trivial, things change each year, so do let me know.

I was on a leg with a lot faster than me runner but he was very
encouraging and his lead at times allowed him to find a better
running surface just off the track for me in some places
    which helped my struggling legs
I didn't want him to run "at my pace" though, I wanted a slightly
faster pace and only he could supply that by doing the leading.

I'm too embarrassed to go into this. Sorry guys!

I was amused to see the variety of kit folk run with. I'm sure some of those rucksacks would be too heavy to check-in as hand luggage. And did "Marshy" really get round leg 5 carrying a telly?

Marshy through he was off out on a 10 mile trek, hense he needed supplies.

Give Sale credit through- it was our 1st fell relay and we managed to get 24 runners out. Some of the athletes had never done a fell race before and didnt realise you needed a 'bum bag' to run.

I'm very proud of all the 24 yesterday- hopefully we'll be alot stronger next year.

He had to chase me down and this kept him moving. He was screwed after the race but well worth it. So, it works both ways.
