    A LITTLE DISAPOINTING!!! Our own mixed team ran a faster 5th leg!!!!

    Give marshy credit though- at least he did it!

    Apparently he forgot his rucksack, and was called back after about 400m into the race!

    We'll be back to full strenght in the PBR.

    Leg 6 looks a bit dodgy, too. A couple of (almost) 50 year-olds were only a minute down on them.

    Blimey- stop picking holes in our team! First time out, most of our runners had never raced accross the fells, and to get 24 out is very impressive. Even pike is considereing moving back to Sale to compete on the fells!

    It makes depressing reading for us present day mortals, but those of you interested in old results and stats see the following:

    • Rochdale's Calderdale results for the 1980s/1990s, thanks to Colin Robinson; and

    Apparently the legs have changed a little over the years but there certainly were some fast runners around in years gone by.
