Had a pint of Pedigree in Milton Keynes whilst waiting for the train. There would have been a smiley after that sentence but it hadn't been kept very well. Shifted to lagers after that.

Too damn woody for my liking.

Cases of Moorhouses Black Cat and Blonde Witch available at Booths in Ilkley. Good price, nicely less than £1.00 a bottle.

6 gallons of cider to bottle up this afternoon, I suspect some will stray down my throat during the process!

Ive just had a thought - whats gets you hammered quicker - real ale of lager e.g fosters.

Because by the sounds of things, all yee real ale drinking fell runners who are going to be at the xmas on the fells are going to be able to drink me under the table.

Not that i want to be keeping up, just i dont want to be trollied by the time you're all only just feeling tipsy haha.

Fosters=3.8 percent (ish) fizzy nasty watery stuff it is
Proper beer=3.8 - 8 percent (ish) depending on variety of which there is plenty. Get someone to show you the real ale ropes Al, Fosters will become a thing of the past.

You should go to a different club if they don't sell Old Peculiar Al

I'm sure someone will take you under their wing and explain what's good to drink on the night
