C'mon all, hands up who else was beaten by a fairy???
Never mind being beaten by the fairy. How did you do compared to previous years?

I have just looked back and found that I was actually 3 mins quicker in 2006, didn't have the proper footwear, had only been running a few months, was considerably heavier etc etc!!

Ah well.......i'll just have another chocolate whilst I contemplate doing something about it!!!

I think Emm is getting faster training on that Stanner Stairlift thing.

PS Emm thanks to your technical help I have now got the time!!!
Glad to be of assistance and yeah the stanner stairlift rules!!! next time you might not get passed me at all

1 minute faster last year and only my 3rd fell race.

Been doing longer slower mileage though and it was a lot boggier than last year. That's my excuse

Missed last year but beat my 2006 time by 30secs. I was intent on knocking more off than that but when you like food as much I do, 30 secs is an awful lot.

Well done steam pig and to all the other santas who ran, I'm be wearing my santas outfit on boxing day over at rawtenstall. Ho ho ho.

    Me!
I must have been around a quarter of a minute behind Big Compass.

As for times, I've been three or four minutes faster in the past and finished further down the field. Most people I spoke to afterwards said their times were down by several minutes due to even more mud than usual.

My daughter did The Stoop as her first fell race and somehow managed to get round in road shoes...
I don't know how, though. I can barely make it wearing proper fell shoes.
